May 13, 2010: Discovery

  • After the "File List B4" completed its countdown in the Scariestthingieversaw.com terminal, one file was printable: RSCOM8.DAT. When printed, it produced the following two pages:
  • The website was found by checking the "RocketPoppeteers.com" domain.
  • The astronaut in the newspaper ad is Gordon Cooper

Content

  • When found, the website was not available, only displaying the following splash page:

Upon examination of the HTML source code of the Rocket Poppeteers website, the following line was found:

<img src="img/temp.gif" width="800" height="650" alt="Rocket Poppeteers" /> " This line of code reveals that the image used in the site was named "temp.gif" by the developer. This could mean that the image will not stay long, and is temporary. An updated website should emerge in the near future.
